Javier
Cool. I'm getting one today. This is a bare tool price for a 2 battery kit
NicholasShetley
It is dirt cheap and it is the updated version as well.
Harold Wray
Man that's a good deal.

NicholasShetley
How did you pay 58?
Javier
After trying to get 2 home depots to accept a harbor freight 25% off coupon and failing, they said I could get $25 off my purchase if I signed up for a credit card so I did It was irritating because I have successfully used that harbor freight coupon before but it seems every hd is different
NicholasShetley
I would have bought them out and then sold the rest on eBay.
Javier
Im sure theres money to be made on a deal like this if someone buys these to resell, probably get the most if sold the items separately
NicholasShetley
What is the regular price 129.99?
DR99
Home Depot has been dropping the price regularly on this. They must have 10's of thousands in inventory to sell. Its just worth it for the batteries if you needed some.
NicholasShetley
The drill and impact were on sale for 99 recently.
Javier
I think the price was $130 before they dropped it to $99. It's hard to tell if $99 is the new price or holiday pricing. What makes it more confusing is that home depot shows the $79 price as "new low price" but it's not considered on special or on sale
Joe M
Im sure theres money to be made on a deal like this if someone buys these to resell, probably get the most if sold the items separately I would have bought them out and then sold the rest on eBay. I've seen a lot of the HDs black friday specials on ebay already. The Screwdriver/Impact combo that was $99 is trying to be sold for around $130 I think I saw. After trying to get 2 home depots to accept a harbor freight 25% off coupon and failing, they said I could get $25 off my purchase if I signed up for a credit card so I did It was irritating because I have successfully used that harbor freight coupon before but it seems every hd is different I never accept a Harbor Freight Coupon, we accept Lowes and Menards promos without blinking an eye. I would just tell you can not get a similar product at Harbor Freight than you can get at HD, Lowes, or heck in most cases Menards. What is the regular price 129.99? Yes the regular price is $129.99, most stores did not carry this as a "Core" or regular item, it was brought in just for the gift centers. The drill and impact were on sale for 99 recently. That was the Screwdriver and Impact, the Drill/Driver and Impact has been holding firm at about $
NicholasShetley
I meant as seperate kits.

Harold Wray
I agree with DR, it's worth it for just the batteries.
Javier
The grip on the impact is improved. Some improvements from the fuel models have made their way to the updated brushed tools
ChrisK
Javier, are the batteries 1.5ah or 2.0 ah?
NicholasShetley
They are 1.

NicholasShetley
No problem. All of the updated brushed tool kits still have the 1.5 ah batteries
ChrisK
Now that's good to know, I was not aware of that. I was hoping they'd phase them out and just do 2.0 and 4.
Javier
1+ what NicholasShetley said. So far only the m12 fuel tools have the bigger 2.0 and 4.0 batteriesI wish it came with 2 2.0 batteries. That would have been an insane deal for $
NicholasShetley
It is the same for the new m18 kits as well
