If you are you might want to consider a SDS drill they are much better at drilling in concrete than a percussion drill like the Dewalt drills your looking at. He said it plows through concrete effortlessly and can drill monster holes in metal (3/4+). He loves it and has never had a problem with it. firefighter4187 Posted January 4, 2014 Report Share Posted January 4, 2014 I would go for the 2nd drill if funds are efficient, its about $40 more, but its alot more drill, 2 speeds 10 amps(big power) 3500 max rpm....if you want a corded hammer than the dwd520 is the one i would go for.
