Shayski Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 I purchased a RYOBI RTS23 table saw and had it about 2 1/2 months when I was making an angle cut with the blade set at about a 1/2” when the motor started making a horrendous noise and smoking, I could smell something burning so of course I shut it down. I then tried to start it back up, which it did come back on but you could tell it wasn’t spinning at its normal speed and after about 30 seconds it stopped running. So I turned it off and waited for about 5 minutes but it wouldn’t start back up. The next day it did start up but did the exact same thing. What parts do I need to replace to fix this? A new motor assy. Costs more then I paid for the saw, and I have found you can buy the motor in separate parts but not sure what parts are bad? Quote
