Ethan
How do you know what quality battery your going to get from Milwaukee. I bought an 8 ah battery from Milwaukee that is starting to fail after just a few months of owning it. I see the reviews are pretty bad for it on fleet farms website which is where I bought it from, but on home depots the reviews are really good, so does it just depend on what batch of batteries happened to ship to the store? After googling I see Milwaukee tools are made in Germany US Mexico Japan and China, so after researching I see the 8 ah is made in China, but say like the 5 ah that I have had really good luck with is made in Japan. So I guess my question is are the other Milwaukee products made in China junk, or does it just depend on a certain batch? IDK it kinda pissed me off when I found out Milwaukee is owned by a Chinese company so I kinda wonder if the quality in there products is going to tank in the future. Eric - TIA
Great question. Yes, Milwaukee is a Chinese owned company. I have heard more problems with the 8Ah battery than any of their other batteries. Ever since they came out, 8Ah seems to have issues and not sure what it's related to.
