Guest Jopopsy
Does anybody know what the shelf life of these batteries is? I've read NiCad can sit 4-5 years before losing their punch and NiMH can sit 2-3 years. Does anybody know how what the shelf life is of a XRP Nano Lithium battery is supposed to be? Guest Jopopsy
http://forum.drc.su/cordless-power-tool-batteries-nicd-vs-nimh-vs-liion-vt4187.html If this site is to be believed, it looks like shelf life is 72 months? Can we verify this? If this is true, then by far these DeWALT nanos are worth it !
kanxrus
That is user JOOMLA'S website. He is the battery expert. So you could relate any battery questions to him.
Guest Jopopsy
I posed the question to DeWALT via email (such a handy feature). The rep emailed me back and stated 5 years give or take a year. So Joomla is on the high side or DeWALT is just conservative.
