Here is what I did with my stand. Now my table saw stand. Light, portable and very sturdy. Cut the legs off 12". I already have the 6 ft. model for my Miter Saw, but have used this for small jobs requiring a few cuts. A little low for the miter saw but off the floor and my knees. Works sweet for me.

And then do what exactly? My apologies here. I'm sure it's stupid simple, but I'm having a hard time envisioning what the heck to do with the thing. Lol.

take one of your yellow top bracket clamps, and set it right in the middle of that bracket.   its a location bracket. to repeat the same spot when you clamp the top yellow bracket.  at least thats the way it is on the miter saw stands.

That bracket locks the miter saw in place. You just slide it down the rail to the location you want it.

I'm confused again.

This work stand doesn't have the channels like the miter stands have. Look at the original photos on the post. No channels on top or the side of the main horizontal beam.
