mox72 Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 Hello, I just bought a new 20 volt drill/driver model DCD980. I have noticed that when I put the drill into reverse mode, there is a noticeably different sound that the motor makes. It almost sounds like it is clicking when compared to running in the forward direction. Is this something normal for Dewalt drills or could I have a problem?
