Xcisking
I am a carpenter that uses an impact driver a lot and I expect a lot of my tool. But this new 20v max impact driver is just not up to snuff. The power and runtime are absolutely great but it has one major flaw. The bit won't stay in the new chuck. They should have stayed with their old design or is my drill an isolated occurrence of this problem. Is there a fix for this or do I need to get it replaced? Any help with this would be great. Lagoodlife
My impact driver did the same thing couples weeks ago. Its an easy fix i went to a Dewalt service store and they change a piece (i think its a little spring) in the chuck. it took 5 minutes and it was done.
