RickDel Posted April 4, 2012 Report Share Posted April 4, 2012 If so, how's it working for you? I need a pressure washer for residential use and want a 4 GPM unit. I'm considering this one or a Northern Tools. They both have a Honda GX390 engine, but the Northern Tools model only has 3.5 GPM but does have a CAT pump with independent unloader. The Dewalt has a General with a built in unloader. EVERYTHING I've read says to stay away from the built in unloaders, but this is advise from Pro's. I'm wondering if I'll be OK since I'm only going to use this for residential use. (too bad I can't get this DeWalt with an independent unloader) Also, HD sells the DeWalt 4240 as model DXPW and DPW, both are the same item number and the same price, so does anyone know the difference??
