tooljoe Posted April 26, 2012 Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 i hacked my blutooth piece and got rid of the single speaker in place for skullcandy ear buds... now i can enjoy blutooth mp3's and better call clarity. here are some pics before and after... real quick... the skullcandy ear speakers where 15.6 ohms each and the blutooth speaker was 32 ohms... so 15.6 times two 31.2 ohms (connected in series)... close enough to 32 ohms... the main goal is to be higher than 32 ohms to not fry the amp... but 31.2 will do... i am listening to mp3s on my computer right now and listen to FM radio or mp3s from my phone using blutooth. just sharing, it took me like about 30 minutes to hack this... thanks.
