Possible?? DC022 Dual Port Charger/Worklight to charge Lithium batteries???

So I might have a few off the wall ideas...but again it always seems possible.  I have a Dewalt DC022 Dual port charger worklight which we know only charges the NiCad batteries.  BUT....could you get a DC9320 Dual port charger which does charge the lithium batteries, and swap the insides out between the two items??

I think it's possible but the internal wiring of the DC022 go from the charger ports to the main pcb. This pcb has the circuitry for the light too.

I have the internal electronics out and will post a picture later of the two chargers boards. I think I'll have to post them in the gallery though.

I would afix the separate dual charger the back of the DC022 and have the best of both worlds.

OK, I posted a couple of pictures in the gallery of the insides. You will have to decide if it's worth it!!

I hope my explanations along with the pictures are understandable.
