MFolks Posted March 11, 2013 Report Share Posted March 11, 2013 I recently purchased a DWX723 miter saw stand and a DW715 miter saw, go to bolt up the mounting brackets on the saw, and found holes were not the correct size. They should have been 5/16" (.312") to allow the miter saw mounting brackets to fit. A quick pass through with a reamer opened up the holes. I notified DeWalt at their website about the problem, and they said engineers have been told of this minor defect, and hopefully future miter saws will have the correct size holes.
