dano_uk
Just seen this and thought I would share it with you all. Got me thinking of custom tough boxes now with my logo on. https://en-gb.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=526497190720135&set=pb.108606155842576.-2207520000.1370810124.&type=3&theater
Mr. Yellow
I wonder if these are just a one-off marketing thingie for when they attend the MotoGP races or a ltd. edition to be sold...
dano_uk
I would love some of those boxes. They must just be vinyl wrapped.
Mr. Yellow
I was at the Silverstone event yesterday and spoke to the SBD/DeWALT guy who had those boxes made, the night before. These are only for promotion. They have 13 sets made to show at (MotoGP) events throughout Europe. An additional 2 sets have been made for the Tech3 Yamaha MotoGP team which they will use on their raceweekends. There is a lot of interest from customers for these boxes actually, but he said it is too costly to make. Here are 2 pics I took yesterday from the one they had on display.. It's really nice, but I don't think the vinyl will withstand daily (ab)use and exposure to the elements over time.

Mr. Yellow
Those are vinyl wrapped. Maybe if they would provide the artwork templates they used, as a free download to ToughSystem owners. So they can take it to a local printer, have it printed and apply it themselves. By no means it will still be expensive as it is all printed on vinyl. A cheaper option would be just a set of stickers...
dano_uk
If they did a download with the templates you could add your own designs. There's a competition idea for you dewalt!
