Repairing dc9180 lithium packs

Hi

I have a dc9180 pack that suddenly stopped working and when I tried to charge it the charger light flashed "replace pack" so I pulled it apart and found that all the cells are ok, but the protection circuit is preventing it from working.

Does anyone know where I could get a replacement circuit?

Nevermind,... I tried plugging it into the charger again and it charged, and now it works. I'll know what to do in the future now.

Not having an instruction manual for my charger, does flashing "Replace Pack" mean....

1. Throw away the battery and buy a new one, or

2. Remove it from the charger and then place it back in the charger?
