Mr. Yellow
DEWALT® Launches New Corded Oscillating Multi-Tool with DEWALT UNIVERSAL FITMENT™ Accessories TOWSON, Md. – July 29, 2013 DEWALT® announces the launch of the new corded oscillating multi-tool kit with UNIVERSAL FITMENT™ Accessories (DWE315K). The powerful 3.0 Amp motor in the multi-tool provides strong performance for multiple applications, and the tool-free QUICK CHANGE™ System allows the user to change blades and attachments quickly. The new oscillating multi-tool is ideal for trim carpenters, kitchen & bath remodelers, flooring & cabinet installers, service technicians and any other trade professionals who need to perform a variety of applications including cutting, sanding, scraping, and material removal. DEWALT’s DUAL-GRIP™ variable-speed trigger gives the user precise control of the tool when performing a variety of cutting and material removal applications. The tool also features an LED light that illuminates dark work surfaces for visibility. “After years of studying how professional contractors use oscillating tools, our research found that the users were asking for a tool that offers greater control than existing products on the market when performing their applications,†says Sean Templeton, Product Manager, DEWALT. The DUAL-GRIP™ variable-speed trigger changes the way users control the speed of the oscillating tool and provides the users with multiple options for gripping the tool, depending on the application. The DWE315K comes with DEWALT’s new UNIVERSAL FITMENT™ accessories, which fit most major brands of oscillating tools. New innovative blades offered by DEWALT are the Multi-Material blade (ideal for cutting asphalt shingles), the Titanium Coated for Long Life™ blade, and the Quick Wave™ blade for fast grout removal*. The DWE315K multi-tool kit includes the DEWALT Oscillating Tool Guide System that allows users to set the depth or height for accurate repeatability when making a series of cuts. The DWE315K will retail for $159.00, includes more than 30 accessories, and the Oscillating Tool Guide System. The DWE315K comes standard with a three-year limited warranty, one-year free service contract, and 90-day money back guarantee, and is available wherever DEWALT products are sold. DEWALT 30-Piece Accessories Include: (1) Bi-metal plunge cut blade (1) Fast-cut wood blade (1) Semi-circle flush cut blade (1) Sanding pad (25) sheets of sand paper (1) Universal accessory adaptor * These new blades are not included in the DWE315K.
