wesleydnc01
I dropped the transmission of my old DC759 and lost a gear. Had to replace it, bought DC759KA transmission (all that I could find available) and it installs just fine in the case. But I can not get it to shift consistently when the cover is reinstalled. With one side of the case off and pushing the wire by hand to shift, it appears to be fine, but when the case is back on it doesn't appear to be moving completely from 1 to 2. If I press the shift lever one direction hard, it will drive properly, but when released it doesn't stay and will drift under load and grind between gears. Everything appears to fit properly in the case. The wire doesn't appear mangled that transfers motion from the shift lever on top to the transmission. Any ideas? tooljoe
check if the spring like metal that is next to the shifter switch is properly seated. it should be on the left side of the switch, if im not mistaken.
