flyfisher1976 Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Hi, Did a search and could not find any relevant information...Your help is greatly appreciated. To the best of my knowledge the Dewalt line of US (20v MAX) and European (18v XR) batteries are identical with different marketing techniques. Does anyone have confirmation that the battery receptacles are identical? In other words, if I buy a DeWalt 20v Max Bare Tool in the US, can I travel with it to Europe plug a European 18V XR battery pack in to it? Thanks for your help! Joe
Mr. Yellow Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Yes, you can. The tools and batteries are interchangeable.
bungee Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Yes, I can confirm too. Note chargers voltage, it is not 100-240 v, it is only 110 or 220 v.
