tooljoe Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 On full charge I get about 4-5 hours (haven't really checked, could go longer). Not very hard to make. It didn't even require to take the flashlight apart...well just the head part to get the incandescent bulb out. If anyone is interested in step by step instructions, let me know.
tooljoe Posted September 10, 2013 Author Report Posted September 10, 2013 Been playing with it a little.... here is my DCL040 20V MAX...camera kind of shows it yellowish while I see it more white with my eyes. This picture is in the dark. This is my modified DW919...in the same dark place....bathroom
ewils91 Posted September 10, 2013 Report Posted September 10, 2013 Cool and thanks for the post. I would love additional information on this conversion. Eddy
tooljoe Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 I'll do a full tutorial when I get free time...with pictures too. For starters, you will need five of these flashlights. http://www.amazon.com/Nebo-Larry-Light-light-Magnetic/dp/B007M0JSTA

electromage Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 What kind of bulb did the light come with? From what I can tell it's some kind of PR bulb. There are lots of LED drop-ins for these, so it might be even easier.
