gus
Got this recently as part of the 20v Compact Drill/Driver Kit. I'm getting less than what I feel (and have read elsewhere or experienced with other compact drivers) is acceptable run time with the drill (driver seems fine). I returned the first set of batteries, but have the same issue with the new ones. Is it possible there is a problem with the drill......maybe a glitch causing it to drain the battery? The drill sees light duty installing cabinets and I feel I should be getting better results than a dead battery after drilling 50-60 1/8 - 3/16" holes over the course of a day or two. Yes, I've allowed for charge cycling. I'm hesitant to return/exchange the drill because the current one has a solid chuck with very little runout. I'd like to avoid the exchange carousel, if possible. All help is appreciated. Thanks, Gus.
kanxrus
You have a lot of variables in this equation that may not have just one answer. Your best bet, is to either exchange the entire kit, or take it to your local service center and have them look the system over.
