DEWALT® Continues to Innovate the Manual Fastening Market With the Introduction of Two New Tackers

NEW YORK CITY, NY – August 22, 2013 – DEWALT® announced today the introduction of two new manual tackers – models DWHTTR130LH and DWHTTR410. Director of Product Management Tom Chang said, “With these two additions to our line of manual tackers, DEWALT® now offers a fastening solution that will appeal to any pro. We already have the incredibly durable DWHTTR350, now we are adding a compact stapler with an easy to squeeze handle and a versatile 4-in-1 stapler.â€

The DEWALT® Compact Stapler – model DWHTTR130LH – was designed for ease of use to reduce the fatigue felt during extended use of a manual stapler. The new easy to squeeze handle has a 30 degree lower handle angle than the DWHTTR350 Heavy Duty Tacker. A pinpoint staple guide helps users place staples exactly where they want them for precision fastening applications, such as upholstery. The body is constructed of lightweight aluminum for durability. A removable belt clip can be placed on either side of the tool for easy access for both left and right-handed users.

The DEWALT® 4-in1 tacker – model DWHTTR410 – is a versatile fastening tool which accepts four fastener styles. With the ability to drive both light and heavy duty staples, cable staples, and 18 gauge brads, the 4-in-1 tacker is an ideal tool for professionals. Pros have the ability to choose between high and low power settings for optimal fastener driving. The body is constructed of lightweight aluminum and also features a belt clip for easy storage.
