Got a new dcd785d2 and love it!!, was wondering is it normal for it to get Hot after a couple minutes use ?, could b just Paranoid after burning out a makita lxt at the wkend. Gatorb8881393434512 Posted November 19, 2013 Report Share Posted November 19, 2013 Do you mean the DCD795D2? It has a brushless motor and it shouldn't run as hot as a brushed motor.
