cambo
First off, I live in Cambodia... I have a set of Dewalt tools using 18v battery packs. Recently, my charger indicated the batteries were shot. Fair enough. Two new batteries were shipped here from the States. But the new battery packs are getting the same rapid flashing light. There's still charge in the batteries from the factory - my tools run fine. The light starts off flashing slow, then changes to rapid flash after two minutes or so. Any troubleshooting tips on the charger (DW9116) - anything simple I can try? Would love to save the time/money and get back to work... Thanks! Gatorb8881393434512
Usually that means they are bad batteries but in this case it could be the charger. Try another charger? Sorry, there is no easy way to find out unless you can find a friend with some Dewalt tools.
