Lefty
Great forum here, My 1st post.I bought the 20v 4 pc kit and I'm quite happy with it. I purchashed the grinder seperately online & just gave it a workout Friday. The grinder really eats up the juice fast & I'm wondering if I can use the 18v higher amp battery on this tool? Has anyone tried this, I'm thinking I'll get a little more "grind time" with the 18v battery(I'm aware the 20v is really 18v)?
Gatorb8881393434512
You probably have 3.0 Ah batteries that came in your combo kit. Their are 4.0Ah batteries available and you should see a 33% increase in runtime jumping from the 3.0 to 4.0 Ah Battery. I will also say that the "Grinder" is really advertised as a "cut off tool" because grinding application, like you mentioned, do drain the batteries very quickly. Cutting applications is mainly what this tool was meant for.
Lefty
Hey thanks, I'm out & about, think I'll pick up a couple! Oh, I only cut with this tool, I'm just so used to calling them grinders. Thanks for the tip, Brian
