nukedave Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Loaned my hammer drill to one of coworkers. Enuff said I guess, he said he didn't drop it or anything, but i had just used it hammering in 1/4" anchors in a block wall and it worked fine. Pull the trigger, the motor runs but the chuck doesn't spin. Upon disassembly (yeah, I know) the motor spins up fine making me think it is in transmission...yeah I did, I took transmission apart and see nothing wrong, all the little gears are undamaged, the plastic housing looks good and I can find nothing that looks "bad" after reassembly(I know) the chuck doesn't turn when you turn input shaft. Any ideas, other than replacement, I just bought new batteries and double charger for this thing...
Gatorb8881393434512 Posted February 6, 2014 Report Posted February 6, 2014 Is it possible the chuck is stripped/broke? Take it to your closes authorized/factory repair center and have them check it out for you.
