kailor
Which 1/2" corded drill do you recommend for mixing thinset/grout? I recently did some tile work in my church's kitchen and my 5.5A 1/2" corded Craftsman drill kept overheating and shutting off. I don't make my living doing tile work but would certainly like to avoid this inconvenience next time that I do some tiling. Thanks.
gary
Its nice to see the forum back up. To answer your question, I think the Milwaukee 0302-20 (They might have a newer model) is a good drill for this. I amnot sure if it is the best drill, but I have done that for a long time and never had any problems with the drill. It is an 8.0 amp and it mixes with ease. kailor
If the Milwaukee has worked for you in the situation I described in my original post, then it should work for me too! I happen to like Milwaukee too.
usa
I agree with you. I love that drill. I have a partner who has the drill and use it all the time. Very nice drill.
carp
I like the Milwaukee also. My partner has owned it for a while and will buy that one next time. He loves it.
