StevenK
Hey just want to know if anyone here on the forums has a stiletto hammer or anything from them for the matter of fact. Are they worth the money or are they just something to make you feel cool? Haha
ChrisK
Dude, I'm sorry but every time I see your posts your avatar throws me off. What did you ask, I was momentarily blinded
StevenK
Hahaha well just to be clear I'm a guy, but nothing is sexier than a girl with some milwaukee drills haha....and stiletto hammers?
regopit
I have them and they are great if you a swing a hammer all day or you do a lot of demo. Are they worth the money it is all in how you look at it.
mustang347
I have one of their titanium hammers and a cats paw. They are quality tools. I feel for me I got what I paid for. But as Regopit said it's how you look at it.......
StevenK
I'm a union carpenter in Chicago but mostly use steel studs. All though I do use my hammer frequently everyday, I have estwing steel hammers that'll outlive me. Just not sure if the investment is worth it for me

StevenK
You can check out there website, stiletools.Com but they mostly range from $100-$
chadlanthier
Wow for that price keep your other hammers, and invest in some really cool tools. It's just a gimmick for you to really pay high price for name. Don't feel bad we all do it, no matter what the tool is. Lol.

Conductor562
The stilletos are awesome hammers and if I swung one for a living, I'd probably invest in one.My framer is a Vaughan Stealth I gave $25 for. It's a great hammer, but it's no Stiletto. It's like anything else, it carries a different value to different people.

Punda1991
I love mine, they don't rust, they are insanely light, very strong, and most the parts are replaceable...... But there is one problem! People see these and they want to walk off with them!!!!! I have to constantly guard it! It will be the last hammer you buy though, just keep your eyes on it! Love mine
NERemodeling
I've got the 10oz wood handle finish hammer and the 15oz tibone full titanium framing hammer along with two prybars.. got both hammers at trade shows with slight discounts but still a serious investment.. no they aren't totally necessary but they do have real benefits such as transferring less recoil into your arm and are very light which is noticeable in your hand and hanging off your belt all day. They are a joy to use and just sweet!!
madman_us
how it sounds, everyone is fully satisfied with those hammers....I would like to use those to see/ feel the difference.I just have a 10 bucks hammer in my shop
StevenK
Well since I've posted last, my 28 oz. Steel shaft estwing has been stolen:/ the plus side is I'm now in the market for a new hammer haha.as tempted as I am for a stiletto, I think I'm gonna go with another estwing. I believe its a 22 oz. It's got a hickory handle. The one I saw last night at HD was beautiful. It had a really dark piece of hickory....I think I'm gonna head back
Bigmikez
I have the 20once estwing and love it, I just haven't had the chance to try the stilettos
yamatitan
I use a 20 oz estwing as well my main worry with the stilletos is they are so light it would take twice the swings to get the same job done.
regopit
I was at the JLC Live show this week and picked up the Stiletto 14 OZ. TITANIUM SMOOTH FACE / 16" HYBRID FIBERGLASS HANDLE for $80.00 This is one sweet hammer.
Paul_50projects.ca
Anyone try the DeWalt Hammer? It's about $70 retail in Canada. I bought my dad the Stanley FatMax one (practically same thing; only reason I bought it was the Rona I was at didn't have the DeWalt one) as a Christmas present. It's like other people said: the estwing my dad has will probably outlive us all. I figured it's the kind of thing you never buy for yourself.
