TylerDama
Just got the impact back today, and man I am impressed, they fixed things I didn't expect them to and they replaced A LOT of the exterior body parts.

I would have assumed they would have sent a refurbished unit out.
comp56
ya you would think it was cheaper to grab a refurb instead of paying a guy
RickyMcGrath
yeah I brought it to the tool rental center, 6-8 weeks to get it back (if they can fix it) but honestly it held up great. DR, that is a killer deal! If there is nothing that can be done with the Ridgid I may start to look at the M12 fuel...6-8 weeks?!?! I was told you bring to to the tool center, they verify its broken and you get a new one off the shelf. Who can wait 6-8 weeks?

Who can wait 6-8 weeks?Unfortunately, the home depot sent the tool out.yes that is a long time to wait but it is a lot cheaper then buying a new tool. Luckily I had a backup drill. DR99
No I have heard that the LSA is not the best in that regard it can take a long time to get tools fixed or replaced. The only thing I have heard is the HD tool rental spots can exchange out batteries pretty quick
