Frain20
Bought the Dewalt DCG412 brushed grinder about an hour ago,it looks like a quality tool but I've realised there's no on board storage for the spanner when changing the blade..I'm just wondering if anyone else has one and if so where do u store it? Grumpy MSG
I don't have a 412, I do have the 411, which is the 18V version. I never thought about it before, because I carry it with the grinder in a bag with the spare grinding and cut off wheels. I throw a spare battery in if the job warrants it. Frain20
Right I got to use the beast today..Ild say it Deffinetly drained the battery faster than any other cordless dewalt tool I own,but it still managed 15 cuts of 3mm aluminium all 120mm long before I had to change the 4ah battery..I had to change the blade on the last 2 and noticed the locking ring had worked loose, probably due to me not knowing how much pressure to put on the disc when cutting.. Frain20
ya not too badIl be honest ,I was hoping for more..but again it's the first time I've used it and I'm guessing runtime will get better, knowing how to use the grinder..that and they weren't a big branded disc(not that I'm aware of anyway)
Bigmikez
keep us informed though Frain ive been wanting to get this in bare tool but ended up getting a corded one just cus I was a lil skeptical on it due to it being a battery tool and these suck a lot of juice

Frain20
Handy little tools this..just had one of those "itl only take you five minutes" jobs from the boss! So glad I had the grinder in the boot because this threshold would of took the biscuit to cut with a hacksaw..I had three of them to do and never broke a sweat!
