DR99
its better to stick with one manufacturer...If I didn't have my Paslode nailer I would get the Dewalt framer. I don't see Milwaukee getting in that area any time soon.
madman_us
a dewalt framer - battery or air?
BK13
its better to stick with one manufacturer... I hope you're talking about cordless... I'm pretty happy with my M12 stuff, and my lone M18 drill/driver, but I keep fondling the Bosch, Makita, and DeWalt stuff at the store, and I have a serious hankerin' to jump into the IR IQ20v system... DR99
ya im talking about the cordless tools - just because of batteries and charger... IR IQ20v - what the hell is that?Ingersol Rand makes cordless power tools now and that's their 18v line of tools. IR cordless tools are aimed more at auto mechanics. Javier
In a perfect world we would only need one battery platform but in reality if you need a broad range of cordless power tools you need a healthy dose of different brands
Javier
Oddly enough, the one brand that has most bases covered from what I've seen is the ryobi one+ 18v line
