NERemodeling
Does anyone know if Ryobi plans to release a 18v led stick light anytime soon? My father is a painter and could really use one to cast light parallel to the wall when prepping. It really makes any imperfection stand out. Whenever we happen to be on jobs together (usually him painting my jobs) he uses my makita 12 led lights (lxlm03) and really likes them but he has the Ryobi 18v platform so it would be nice if he could just buy the bare tool light and not have to buy a light battery and charger of another brand..My wishful thinking hopes they have one before christmas, I'd love to grab him a few as a gift. DR99
We don't hear too much about Ryobi tools till they are released. It would be nice as Ryobi's flashlight offerings are pretty weak now. You never know but I wouldn't count on it being out by Christmas. NERemodeling
Dan, that's what I was thinking.... release the Milwaukee first then trickle it down to ryobi. I'll keep crossing my fingers. Hopefully the have something in the works, like DR said, their lights are pretty lame.. they could definitely use it! Cheng Liu
Something like this? If so I would say it looks nice and I love the fact that it is hybrid. Hopefully they will release it in the U.S. sometime soon.

DR99
TTI is weird though they release tools in other countries that never make it over here. Wow the Tek4 line is still alive over there.
DR99
Man Ryobi is a lot cooler in Australia than here. Maybe Dwain can answer this one is Ryobi exclusive to one retailer in Australia? Here its only at the Home Depot and a few other online retailers.
Cheng Liu
@DR99: It is. The pastor in my former church is Chinese-Australian-American and he said that in Australia Ryobi tools are only sold in a store called Bunnings Warehouse.
