I got on my brothers ass about his lack of tools a couple months back and his reply was "Why would I buy tools when I have every tool in the world 7 minutes away at your house?" Kinda like I have .13 of an acre and a 14 Tundra and he has six acres and a farm with a rolling vagina (Prius). My soon-to-be-inlaw alwayssends some sissy home owner tool set (the ones with a 4oz hammer) that come in a plastic case.yes it is a nice gesture but I don't hang photos for a living.
