ChrisK Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 They are limited issues from Boston. I'm not a drinker to be quite honest but I love this brew and the Porch Rocker from Sam Adams. Problem is, limited run, limited supplies. I will say. Stressful day at work, cold and wet. Got home and just finished one in a frozen tumblr playing Call of Duty. Ahhhhhhh.....this is a great afternoon. 2

BK13 Posted December 10, 2014 Report Posted December 10, 2014 If you guys make it to Portlandia around Christmastime, you have to find a McMennamins and try a Kris Kringle or eight. Dang tasty. In fact, look me up. I'll buy the first four... http://www.mcmenamins.com/1480-mcmenamins-breweries-kris-kringle
DR99 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Report Posted December 10, 2014 We are just starting too see some craft distillers in Michigan. I think the problem is its much more difficult than brewing technically and the paperwork involved. Plus certain spirits need to be aged for years. So you have to have other spirits like vodka making you money while your really good stuff is aging over the years. It's a tricky business compared to beer. Not too say that craft brewing is a walk in the park. I know a distiller was burned really bad about a year ago he was rushing to make product out of an older still that wasn't as safe. They had a safer new one but it wasn't installed yet and up and running. Ugh burns that's one thing I hope I never have to deal with so scary.
ChrisK Posted December 10, 2014 Report Posted December 10, 2014 They've got a self making brewery in Nashua. I haven't been but I hear it's quite. The place. You go in, research your spices and Hopps, put them together and brew and bottle your own. Nashua is a about an hour and a half ride for here so I haven't quite made it but.,,,Also....I am not sure why but after watching the video DR....I kinda want some milk....and cookies.....
