daviez2k5 Posted December 11, 2014 Report Share Posted December 11, 2014 HI. New to this and want to help others also get help myself.I have an 18v lithium dewalt combi and torch. The drill stopen working and u thought it was the brushes so I replaced and tried it again. Now here's the weird part. The drill works find on first trigger press but if I release the trigger and press it again straight after, there is lack of power.. and if I do it again there's less power etc. The torch just flashes once when I press the button. That's it. The charger states the batteries are full and muse be as the drill works ok on first press.Any one have any ideas.Many thanks in adance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The drill / batteries are about a year or so old, used every day mind but still never had problems. Only used for screwing and drilling a few holes on hammer, and charged probably once or twice a week at the most. Never hahad any problems with it playing up etc. I'm still using the drill to try to run the battery down and then see what happens when I try to charge it. Nevertheless, the torch will still not come on. I am trying to find someone with the same drill and same batteries so I can have a try.
