gsxr_1983
Always used Panasonic for work but have decided to go down the Milwaukee road for a change now I'm at the point they need upgrading. So I bought this saw yesterday as my Pana saw gave up the ghost, seems a quality saw and all that but I suspect theres a fault with the saw body itself (as I cant think of any reason it would be doing this unless someone can enlighten me .... ?? :-/ ) Basically I pop the battery in (M18 4.0 Red lithium) and make my first cut / rip. Put the saw down for a few moments, go to cut again and then nothing .... Just the light comes on. SO I pop the battery back out and then back in and it works again ... I cant see it being a battery issue if the lights working
khariV
I've never had that problem with my 2731. It sounds like you might have gotten a dud. I'd take it back to where you bought it.

trogo
I've been using the 2630 for several years and would love to get the new 2731 model. Problem is the old one is like the Eveready Bunny, just wont fail!!
