FrosBros82
Don't see this discussed much on the forums, but does anyone on here have a preference on concrete tools? As far as the hand stuff I have almost everything I need, but looking at getting a bull float and a fresno. Anyone have suggestions? Poisonfangs85
Most of my finishing tools are Marshalltown. I have never had an issue with them at all. As for the bull float and Fresno I would stick with either Marshalltown or Kraft. What kind of concrete work do you do?
FrosBros82
I am a Marshalltown guy myself, as most of my hand tools are that brand. It all depends, not too much smooth finish as we mostly use machines and lasers for that now. Sticking to sidewalks, pads, driveways.. etc. Mostly do it on the side, that's where the money is at. Just needing to get the expensive stuff so I can do bigger projects. FB82
Altan
Marshalltown tools are good and durable, especially the ones that are made in US. There is an Italian brand called Refina which makes similar quality tools and in some cases, even better. I have seen a toolbox from them as a trowel set similar to this
Altan
They also make leather trowel cover
Altan
Sorry it is a German brand.
