Bosch vs Makita SDS

Recommended Posts

I am looking at 2 SDS drills HD has on sale:

Bosch 11255SVR: $179

Makita HR2621 (this includes a free grinder): $199 have 10% off coupon ~$179

Can anyone give any information on these drills? I am looking for one to use the hundreds of Hilti SDS bits I have and to take up a tile floor in the near future.

I like the Makita deal as free tools are always nice, but I hear Bosch make really good Rotary hammer drills, if funds weren't an issue it would be Hilti without question.

Thanks in advance

You can get the Makita for $149 without the grinder on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Makita-HR2621-Rotary-Hammer-D-Handle/dp/B00I30LAFSYou can't go wrong with either SDS really they Bosch hits a little bit harder but like .1 of a pound so nothing that matters really. So the free grinder or cheaper price sounds like the better option to me at least. Also who has the better warranty.
