DamianD
Ive been eyeing up this thing for a while now and want to pull the trigger. First, id like to find out if this dewalt dust shroud I bought will fit on the milwaukee. Anyone know if the shaft sizes of the milwaukee and the dewalt are the same?? The part on the shaft where the guard is held on. The dust shroud wasnt cheap by any means so If it wont fit on the fuel, I guess ill just end up buying a corded dewalt. dwain
the BL Makita (and apparently the Metabo) are also very high performing cordless grinders, if you're looking for options.
NERemodeling
based on your favorite tool being a m18 impact I'm sure your decided on Milwaukee but i will measure my Makita BL tomorrow if you would like.. its a killer grinder
DamianD
I borrowed a buddies Metabo and it seemed like a nice grinder, but the dewalt shroud I bought didnt fit it. That vac dust shroud was about $60 alone, i couldnt believe it. Had to use my fathers corded dewalt. Im looking to see if that shroud will work on a milwaukee cordless grinder since that is already my battery platform. If i go another brand ill just buy a dewalt corded since I know for a fact it fits.
