comp56
ya they are always empty when ya need a different bit .........
DR99
That looks cool. I wish Milwaukee included it or sold it in stores. Buying stuff like that shipping costs suck.
ChrisK
I had these on my pre fuel M18 drill and impact. They worked decent, gives you the option for a larger and smaller but set. And Comp is right, always mysteriously empty!
khariV
I picked up one cheap on eBay - like $6 with free shipping. I put it on my m18 fuel impact driver. I wouldn't use it to store bits permanently, but it comes in handy for swapping back and forth between two or three bits on a project. Bloch98
Yeah the shipping costs suck. I think I am going to pick one up to try it and I agree they should include it like some of the other brands have been doing?
resqrt
I've used a couple of those that came with tools but never been happy with them. I like to use magnets instead.
torontotoolman
Putting magnets on your tool is smart and a pretty quick change not fiddleing trying to get the bit out i like that idea
Nalu Rash
I've used a couple of those that came with tools but never been happy with them. Instead I stuck magnets on all my tools opposite the belt hooks. They hold anything from drill and driver bits to screws to sawzall blades, plus they're free. Last project I had a 18" auger bit on the side of my drill when it wasn't in the chuck. It looked ridiculous but saved me dozens of trips up and down ladders. Nice tip! That looks like a magnet salvaged from an old computer hard disk drive. In case anyone else needs to know, you can salvage two very strong magnets from old computer hard disk drives. Just open them up and you'll be able find the magnetic parts fairly easily. I stick a key ring on them and attach them to my belt to hold small metal tools or screws, they work great, and they are free if you can find old computers laying around
