Justin Davis
I was checking out the Fuel 1/4" impact driver and noticed a new bare tool shown in the model options. 2757-20 1/4 hex impact driver w/ one key. The link is dead when clicked. Ill be curious to see what this new tech is. Here
DR99
Milwaukee is having their new product event next week. I don't know what is about yet though. The impact does look different though
chewie17
very interesting find! looking forward to their next gen stuff because their previous gen has far exceeded expectations!
Bremon
Interesting. From what I know a lot of press got a weird USB thumb drive from Milwaukee with a cryptic message about this years symposium unlocking the future of power tools or something. Can't quite recall, but I'm definitely curious. Hopefully more interesting than Dewalt Bluetooth batteries.
NicholasShetley
They made some big promises last year. They promised an m18 miter saw and two speed hole hog. Didn't they move to a bigger building this year?

DR99
I though the event was today, but it looks like they are having some events this evening and the majority of the stuff tomorrow. TIA is going to steam the event this year.
Bremon
Looks like a wifi type symbol in the one key logo. Can't wait until Eric and Dan can spill the beans.
eltoro
Everyone has been strangely silent today. I'm wondering if Milwaukee is enforcing an NDA.
DR99
Yea no one posted anything from the keynote speech tonight. I think all the stuff will be on the Demo's tomorrow. It will be cool with TIA hopefully live steaming the event.
DarynH
I guess there's a big secret that can't be outed until August....Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Doof
So they've taken the "one key" leaks off of the website (there were three on three different impact drivers). The branding was obvious at the base of the tools. And just cause I like to speculate, I'm guessing--if it's not some sort of security feature, which seems most likely--it may be a branded method of charging. Perhaps wireless? Or it could be a means to restrict users with some sort of "key" that allows its bearer to use the tool (perhaps all there tools with one key). Who knows? Hopefully we'll know tomorrow. Its a pity they marketed the day for June 16, but gave us naught. Honestly, while the security feature would be nice, I'd like more tool oriented innovation, not gimmicky tech (however useful).
Bremon
I hope it isn't just a wireless tag-out feature, although that will save me money. I'm seeing a few sources on twitter feeds say that they'll tell us more about One Key in August. Tomorrow better be nonstop cordless goodness. Bremon
How many of those are just hand tools though . I'm here for the cordless news. Twitter feed for NPS15 pointing towards One Key being something to do with the Cloud.
Nalu Rash
Any word yet about what One Key? I've seen a bunch of new tools, a 9 amp hour battery, but nothing on One Key
