Charles Harris
Damn!! So Awesome I hope they are not too expensive!!I agree. I expected to see 6.0 but 9.0 would be better.
Charles Harris
Now we need some compact 4.5 M12 batteries.
Bremon
Monster size pack.
Charles Harris
I assumed they were the same physical size as the 4.0 5.0 batteries. Just better cells in the battery. I'm interested to see how they got it done.
Nalu Rash
Wow that's amazing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
Doof
Huge. If it's even remotely well priced, this thing leaves the rest of the pack playing catch-up. Yes, I'm master of the obvious. Think of the power demands they can satisfy with a battery like this. Question: Charge time? Probably won't matter. A day use, and recharge. Charles Harris
It appears to be the same size as the 4.0/5.
Charles Harris
Just saw on the live feed. Three rows of batteries in the pack. So it must be a 5s3p pack (5 in series 3 in parallel)So that would make them 3ah cells like the 6ah packs.3ah + 3ah + 3ah to get 9ah
Bremon
Impressive. Picture I saw of the standalone pack looked bigger
DR99
Wonder what the charge time is!!
Charles Harris
Wonder what the charge time is!!The dual charger shows 3amp output. So rough math would say 3hrs not accounting for any ramp down.I wander how fast these cells could safely be charged. I have a charger for my RC stuff that can charge at 40amps. Charles Harris
HOLLY CRAP!!! They were like, how do we overdrive this b**** to get engine like horse power on these things. One guy said, I know, lets stick a 9.0 battery on there! The other guy says, get serious, you know how much that will cost the consumer? Another guy says, yeah but he'll buy it if he wants the best, cause it will send the compitition into the dust. HAHA! They must be serous about wanting to cut the cord. DR99
I though they were updating the M28 line to fuel but it seems like the M18 is the platform Milwaukee wants to use.
ChrisK
I just googled the 9.0 nothing there. Is this a concept or something?
Doof
It should just take a bit to come to market after its introduction.
Charles Harris
Mechanical-hub is saying over 2x the run time of 5.0 batteries.
PeteW
so if there at 9.0, when does it end? 15.0?
Doof
To speculate on tech in the lab. How about self charging? 1 year no charge?Either way, 9.0 may last some folks at least a year on a single charge. Ha!This thing is a bomb. Any one thinking about 5.0s or 6.0s any more?
