ryanbrec
I'm going to keep trolling for a brushless 7 1/4" saw. I am invested in Dewalt stuff and if there was one I wouldn't hesitate. As mentioned before a revised jigsaw, perhaps with a barrel grip option (it seems like dewalt dropped the corded barrel grip model so I won't hold my breath). It would be nice if Dewalt offered kits in Tstaks or tough boxes too.Lastly a brushless track saw model would be sweet too. Thanks.
Chris Shanks
I would also like to add a Tstack -to- tough system adapter and vice/versa I hate how they make you choose between the two... why cant we have both and a combination of them both

William S
well they never even made the miter saw brushless so I think you'll be waiting a while for a brushless 7 1/4" circular saw, but who knows what they are planning to do. I wouldn't be too happy if they updated the miter saw with a brushless motor after less than a year of it being released though.
JimboS1ice
That's a considerable jump, going to eat batteries for breakfast... brushless XR? I wonder if we will see a higher capacity battery similar to Milwaukee's 9.0 ah packs.
Kenneth Denmark
That's a considerable jump, going to eat batteries for breakfast... brushless XR? Going from a 2 pole engine to 4 pole engine, you will not have battery eating saw.. ! :-)
kornomaniac
Does a 4 pole motor use less energy then a 2 pole ?
JimboS1ice
I think it's more efficient with the energy it uses.JimboSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Andrull
In theory, I also belive the efficiency goes up. At least it makes sense in my mind. Given it will have twice as many optimal positions that the rotor will have each turn. And they are a bit more complex to. Though most non-brushless motors in tools were 4-pole theese days.
