Fossil22 Posted July 4, 2010 Report Share Posted July 4, 2010 Hammer works first few seconds and then the motor sounds like its speeding up and then no hammer action. If I rock the switch back and forth it will chip/hammer better as the motor slows down. Any quick fixes for this? Whats causing it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bradm90 Posted July 5, 2010 Report Share Posted July 5, 2010 Sounds like it could be the switch. Just make sure when your messing with the switch as you stated above, your not moving the tool. Try placing it on the work bench and if the get the same result, then it is the switch. If you place it on the work bench and only the switch moves, but nothing happens then you might have a problem with a connection inside that might be corroded Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
