They might have said something if you didn't use the self check out but they screwed up so oh well. I would have ran out the store after getting my receipt I keep a pocket full of change now just for this reason. If I find a penny deal, I use self checkout and quickly drop my penny into the coin drop. Once my money is in the machine, the transaction is complete and the product belongs to me. I would love for them to stop me to tell me I can't buy it after I already have. The store's name would be changed to Ricky's Depot.
