William S
I just bought the Dewalt DCS380B and it has no integrated LED light. Acme Tools shows that the 380 has a light and I have seen that the 387 has a light. My question is does maybe the type 2 or 3 have a light and I got the older model meaning no light? Does anyone else here who has the 380 have a light on their Dewalt 380? It's not a real big deal but I hate buying a new tool and getting a lesser tool than whats available. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
DR99
It might be the pack in tool with some of the bigger combo kits to keep the price down. I can't remember if the 20v Dewalt recip launched with an LED light.
JoshMurrah
My 380B didn't have the light; I bought it as the bare tool. The DCS387B I upgraded to this past year does have the light.

It's not really that big of an issue unlike on drills and drivers.
