n8n82250 Posted July 21, 2015 Report Posted July 21, 2015 Personally I like yard crashers. I laughter about how they tape the brands of the tools out so you can't see them but I can probably name 99% of the brands they use. Most likely 80%of the tools used are dewalt.Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk Quote
Poisonfangs85 Posted July 21, 2015 Report Posted July 21, 2015 The wife and I get into yard/bath crashers when there's nothing else going on. Some of the ideas on there are just plain weird but every now and again we are surprised.DIY network is a dangerous channel for me. She will get ideas in her head, then when I am doing something similar she wonders why it's taking me so long. I have to explain that Josh Temple didn't actually build that indoor/outdoor living space in 27mins!!! 1 Quote
Justin Hernandez Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 I heard it takes months to do a show with all the planing and everything. Josh can do it in 27 mins because he has a hundred people working behind him..lol Quote
Poisonfangs85 Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 I have a friend of mine who is a painter. He worked on the Mr. T show, think it was DIY, I will have to ask him a few questions. He's a good painter but not 27 mins good lol Quote
Justin Hernandez Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 You can paint a house in 27mins in you had an airless sprayer and all the prep work done.lol There's a really good YouTube channel called The Idaho Painter the guy knows his stuff check it out. Quote
99_XC600 Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 It usually takes me about 30 minutes to realize what I forgot and walk back to the garage 5 times before I even start. Quote
regopit Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 These shows are my worst nightmare. It never fails when you tell someone that it will take two weeks to redo their kitchen and we will have to wait to see how ling it will take to get their cabinets before I start. Then they say how do they do it so fast on kitchen crashers ? My answer thats TV and this is real life. People watch these show and think that when they leave and and say i'll be back with my crew it's the next day it is more like 3 of 4 months later. Quote
CHRIS MARKERT Posted July 22, 2015 Report Posted July 22, 2015 I love it on yard crashers when they say there yard is " hilly". If they want t see a " hilly" back yard, come see mine!! Sent from my Z930L using Tapatalk Quote

That happens with me too, I'm like should I bring this no I don't need it, then has to walk back and go get the thing. These shows are my worst nightmare. I hate people like that, the work isn't the problem its all the scheduling and when a problem arises it just stops everything. Quote
