suretyler97
I apologize for not responding sooner, its just that I don't own a hackzall so I didn't want to provide advice. What I do know is that brushless is better over brushed, and fuel provides more power then non fuel. I think that a M12 hackzall will cut through pipe just fine, and a M12 fuel brushless hackzall would cut through wood just fine as well. And if its something that your not going to push really hard, then you don't need the M18 line version, so the M12 should work out fine.Weather you get fuel or no fuel is up to you, but you absolutely have to get brushless. Cause brushed will suck that battery dry fastThanks man your like the tool guruSent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Milwaukeenut
If you are going to use it all day and don't mind the weight go m18 but I don't think the make a m18 fuel but if it's from time to time thru the day I would go m12 fuel. I have the m12 and m18 non fuel and I mainly use the m12 and only use the m18 for tree branches and cutting pipe. Hope this helps
