mustang347
OK, I know they fit but I was looking at the Battery while at HD and it appears that the "foot" on the new drill is much smaller than that on my older model. Is this correct?? The reason I ask is I'm concerned about stuff getting snagged on the extra plastic of my old drill or it breaking off during the normal small drops and falls that can occasionally occur. Eric - TIA
I think I know what you mean. Do you have a model number so I can make sure?

Eric - TIA
Goog question. I am going to post it in the Dewalt Owners group forum and see what they say. I don't have that drill anymore, so I don't have anything to compare it to
Eric - TIA
I posted it to our Dewalt site and found this out - Dewalt Batteries. They did shorten the "foot" to avoid the overhang w/ lithium batteries. The drill shell is pretty durable, I don't think you'll break it off.
