comp56 Posted December 10, 2015 Report Share Posted December 10, 2015 there is a fine line between hobby/diy and tradesman for cost of tools, there was a time not long ago when pro tools were completely out of reach by an average home owner. Even today there is no need for a guy to buy a $1200 table saw if he is going to cut a few pieces of wood a year.......as for tool companies like Festool if it wasn't for research and development and changing models because our technology there would be nothing wrong in buying a tool that should last a life time.
