Jon Freiberg
Today while at Home Depot while looking at the usual. I just so happened to remember a past job this week where I could of really used a ratching open box wrench. So I came across these today. So as usual my question is. Has anyone used these or something similar from another company? How did they perform for you? Do you feel your investment was justified? I found these to be rather inexpensive to me at $39.95 for the set. I just hate buying something only to return it the next day.
Fazzman
I dont have any Husky wrenches, but I do have an extensive amount of Gearwrench. Once you use a ratcheting box wrench you will wonder how you lived without them.
Logan
I saw those at HD too and was wondering the same
JimboS1ice
I have a set of crescents that have the same mechanism on the open end, they work fairly well, you have to make sure your wrench is perpendicular to the nut, slight angles and it doesn't really work well.JimboSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
BK13
I have the CM version from ten or so years ago. I seriously don't like them.

I'll have to give it more thought or con someone else to buy them!
Justin Hernandez
Husky is a good brand, I think most of there tools have a Lifetime warranty

I personally find it annoying to return any item if it doesn't live up to your expectations.

I personally find it annoying to return any item if it doesn't live up to your expectations.Tell me about it I bought two things from Greenlee and they both failed in a week. Should have just stayed with my trusted brand Klein but that's all they carried at that supply. It would have been better to drive up the road to get what I wanted but I was in a rush :/
Conductor562
They're a niche tool and have been around off and on for years. They're handy for running off fasteners, but they won't take the load a traditional wrench will unless you like busted knuckles.I think the design is best suited for crowfoot versions
RickyMcGrath
It appears to be a great concept. I'm just not sure how well they will work.
pmiller383
I've have the harbor freight ones with the same type of open end design and they worked fine for what I was using them on. Definitely were a lot quicker that using a normal open end wrench but I don't think you can really put a ton of torque on them. I've checked out the Husky ones last time I was in HD and they seem to be a better finish than what was on the Harbor Freight ones.
Fazzman
My favs are my Gearwrench flex and reversibles. The ones that you have to flipover arent bad for many things, but if you're in tighter spots I prefer the others.
