Don't get me wrong, not sure if it's the drill and bit or the wood that is more disturbing, ...you clowns has quite the imagination.....

LOL @ikepete keeping things fresh haha but that's pretty good..

@Milwaukee_man_stan too bad about the new compact tapes, i really like the double side and architects scale on the back, they are probably less expensive because of that, but putting the measurements on the backside doesn't make it any bigger lol

Forgot to grab a pic of the new torpedo level i picked up from Big R, but it's this one:

Sure, it's meant for bending conduit, but i can also pop it on the end of a fitting hub and when I glue my fittings together, i can have an extra hand free, while i press the fitting onto the pipe and rotate it to the angle i need.

Rare earth magnets.  I get as much use playing with them as using them.

They get used for shop stuff.

I always have some on hand but I swear they're never the right size I need so I end up ordering more and now I have a bunch of different sizes.

Rich, did you recon that Craftsman or is that a new (old) eBay purchase?

New old purchase. The bottom needs cleaning. $35 plus s&h. Think it was worth the price. From a website I found it is made by Stanley since it has "DD" on it. 417b4b749984c5216e9c1cc5d8753045.jpg78125d4f60974edf3a054075346ae91b.jpgd62d0173dea3fade6648097bc1bb0daa.jpg72d9cb68ca60572956097917af1e8488.jpg9f0c9c43f3185f2d91606b182bd6d35d.jpg

Yeah that is nice looking one. I ended up getting an old Craftsman Stanley block plane, pre '65 to do a restore but right now I've got a couple of Stanley Bedrocks, four Millers Falls and one Sargent all needing to be refurbished. I am planning on doing a giveaway on one of the Millers Falls God willing this summer. I want to get it honed, tuned and sexy. I've got this weird thing for old Millers Falls. Really nice planes. I got a Millers Falls 714  Buck Rogers plane in awesome shape. Love the multi point lever caps. Really slick design.

That is nice. I have tried to bid on some Miller's falls but have gone above what I wanted to spend. Looking to get a larger one. Like a stanley sized 7 plane.

Ordered a couple more Witte insulated slotted screwdrivers to use up ShopYourWay points. Screwdrivers were free because of points. I had to pay shipping. $6 was a pretty good deal though.

Of the Millers Falls I have, three are no. 14s the equivalent to a Stanley no 5. My biggest plane is an early addition Stanley Bedrock no 606. It would have been made at the very end of the 19th or very beginning of the 20th centuries. It's pretty sweet :) I just got it and it will be one of my last project planes but the japanning is in really good shape. Very little rust and the tote is solid, missing a piece of the corner but it's serviceable right now. I just want to clean her up a little and treat her right. She's old but really well built.
